After Multiple Thefts, 6 Face Charges- 1 Wanted

On February 2nd, deputies responded to Wofford Shoals Road in Fountain Inn in reference to a theft that had already occurred. The victim stated that a racing go-cart had been stolen from the property. The stolen go-cart was then listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace by a person of interest.

This same property has been burglarized at various between 2023 and February 2024. Subjects stole a camper, an enclosed trailer containing 2 racing go-carts, a tool chest, a Yamaha motorcycle and various other items of value.

Through extensive investigation, it was determined that Justin Eugene Terry, Jeffrey Eugene Lowe, Christopher Lee Lewis, Matthew Legette, Wayne Rodgers Holmes, Chris Vinson Griffith were all involved in these thefts. Several of these individuals are currently incarcerated at other facilities and will be transferred to the Laurens County Detention Center and charged as follows:


Christopher Lee Lewis:

-2 counts of Criminal Conspiracy

-2 counts of Grand Larceny, Enhanced

-2 counts of Malicious Injury to Property

-2 counts of Burglary 2nd Degree

Charges from Laurens Police Department:

- Receiving Stolen Goods

-Driving Under Suspension 3rd or subsequent

-Failure to Stop for Blue Light

-Possession of Stolen Property

Matthew Leo Legette (Ibera Parish Detention Center, Louisiana):

-Grand Larceny, Enhanced

-Burglary 2nd Degree

-Criminal Conspiracy

-Malicious Injury to Property

Wayne Rodgers Holmes (Spartanburg County Detention Center):

-Burglary 2nd Degree

-Grand Larceny

Chris Vinson Griffith:

-Criminal Conspiracy

-Burglary 3rd Degree

-Grand Larceny

Justin Eugene Terry:

-2 counts of Grand Larceny, Enhanced

-Burglary 2nd Degree

-Malicious Injury to Property

-Criminal Conspiracy

Jeffrey Eugene Lowe (Spartanburg County Detention Center):

-Grand Larceny

-Criminal Conspiracy

-Burglary 2nd Degree

Billy Joe Blanchard, DOB 9/24/1972 is wanted in connection with this incident on the following charges:

-Burglary 3rd Degree

-Criminal Conspiracy

-Grand Larceny

More charges are pending and more arrests are possible. Those not pictured will be updated upon booking in our detention center.
