On May 23rd at approximately 11AM, deputies were patrolling the Clinton/Whitmire areas in reference to locating a vehicle that had been stolen at gunpoint earlier in the day. Deputies did observe this vehicle traveling on Stomp Springs Road and conducted a traffic stop on its occupants. Mother and Children Missing
UPDATE 7:03- ALL FOUND SAFE. NOTHING FURTHER AT THIS TIME. Be On The Lookout We responded to a missing persons report at approximately 4:30AM today, 5/25. Leslie Heather Burns and her three children, Lily (5 months), William (4 years), and Justin (2 years) were last seen at their home in the 5000 block area of Fairview Road (Hickory Tavern area, Gray Court address) between 1AM and 3AM. They are possibly on foot in this area. If you see them, call 911.

Multiple People Arrested May 13th
On Friday May 13th, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, SLED, and DNR were surveilling various areas of the county recently plagued by violence, property crimes, and drug offenses.
