UPDATE 9/15/22- One of the subjects, Jason Heath Berry of Piedmont was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny, Petit Larceny, and Trespassing as a result of this investigation. On August 22 at approximately 1PM, Animal Control responded to the 27000 area of Highway 221 North in Enoree in reference to a welfare check on multiple dogs located at this residence. Upon arrival, Deputies immediately noticed a female dog with significant hair loss and sores located in a pen without proper shelter along with her puppies. On July 24th, deputies responded to Charlottes Road in reference to a burglary at a residence that had already occurred. The home had been broken into and a vehicle and firearms were stolen from the property.
