

Three Charged With Ill Treatment of Animals
On November 12th at approximately 12PM, Deputies responded to 138 Tillman Circle in Joanna in reference to dogs running loose and being shot with a BB gun. Upon arrival, Deputies observed several dogs outside of the residence. None of the dogs had access to water and the yard was full of trash and debris. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: A release put out by the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office stated that a home invasion had occurred in Waterloo on November 4. A home invasion did not occur, nor did it occur in Waterloo. A break-in occurred on 221 South in Laurens when the homeowner did interrupt the subject upon returning to her home. American Legion Post 25 Hosting Toy Run
The American Legion Post 25 of Laurens will host a Toy Run this Saturday November 14th to benefit the Laurens County Sheriff's Office and Laurens City's Christmas for Kids programs. Registration is 11AM-12:30PM, with kick-stands up at 1PM. Entry fee is a new, unwrapped toy. Ride starts and ends at the Bilo Shopping Center (1500 Western Square Dr. Laurens, SC). Suspect, Stolen Vehicle Sought
Today (11/4) at approximately 4:50PM , deputies responded to Kitty Lane in Laurens off Highway 221 South. A homeowner had entered their residence and discovered an unknown individual inside their home. A struggle occurred between the resident and the subject, then the subject stole the resident's vehicle and fled the scene. Vehicle is a gold in color 2011 Kia Rio similar to the one pictured here, tag number RVB776. We do not have a description of the male at this time. If you
