On February 23rd, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was contacted regarding the location of a wanted person on Wichita Drive in Gray Court. Motor Vehicle Theft Subject Arrested
On February 23rd at approximately 1PM, Deputies in the Joanna area responded to Ellis Street in reference to a motor vehicle theft. On February 14th at approximately 9:20PM, Deputies responded to Gethsemane Circle in Ware Shoals in reference to a gunshot victim. Deputies learned that the victim had been allegedly assaulted by two subjects and sustained a gunshot wound to the leg that was not life threatening. Man Arrested on Multiple Counts of Ill Treatment of Animals
On February 16th at approximately 2:30PM, Animal Control deputies were notified of a puppy being in poor condition after a rescue organization obtained custody of it. On February 14th at approximately 2AM, a Deputy patrolling the area of Fairview Road and Highway 101 South observed a vehicle with defective tag lights fail to stop at a stop sign. Man Arrested After Failing To Stop For Blue Lights Twice
On 2/6/2021, Laurens County Deputies were advised of a vehicle pursuit that was initiated by Greenwood City. Dispatch advised that the vehicle was reported stolen and was being driven by Jessie Huckabee into Laurens County.
