Community Services
The Community Services Division provides the following:
Civil Process and Judicial Services
The Judicial Services Unit is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the Laurens County Courthouse, to include courtrooms and proceedings. This unit also oversees the service of civil process, ensuring that legal documents are served in accordance with the law while accurately maintaining records for all civil papers.
Warrants
The Warrant Unit is responsible for the receipt, entry, service and return of arrest warrants within Laurens County. Working closely with the court system, this unit ensures warrants are processed accurately and efficiently.
Community Outreach
The Laurens County Sheriff's Office is committed to serving our community through programs that educate, support, and strengthen the lives of our citizens. Our outreach efforts include Christmas for Kids, KidPrint Identification cards, Senior Outreach Services, and Project Lifesaver.
Beyond these programs, our Community Services Division actively participates in community events, school functions, and local gatherings- providing educational resources, crime prevention information, and opportunities to build positive relationships between law enforcement and the citizens we proudly serve.
