The jury duty scam is making rounds again this week. Caller claims to be an employee of LCSO and uses the name of an actual deputy or investigator.
LCSO will never call you about missing jury duty, active warrants, or demanding payment. Never give out personal info and hang up immediately. Fines are NEVER accepted via green dot, wiring methods, or gift cards.
