Arrest Made in 10/3 Robbery/Shooting Incident

As previously reported, on October 3, 2025, deputies from the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a robbery and shooting incident in the area of Coleman Road in Clinton. Upon arrival, deputies located a female, identified as Taneal Evans of Clinton, who was deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
Through an extensive investigation, it was determined that Quinjevarious Ta’Marion Tribble of Clinton and Ms. Evans were attempting to rob an individual. During the course of that attempted robbery, the victim acted in self-defense, resulting in both subjects being shot.
On today’s date (11/4), after medical clearance, Tribble has been charged with Armed Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy.
The robbery victim will not face any charges at this time.
