Over the past few years, we have seen an increasing number of crimes stemming from internet purchases. People often sell or purchase items on sites like Craigslist or Facebook and honest people often become victims of crime when meeting unknown people to exchange money and items. To offer increased security for citizens, the Laurens County Sheriff's Office has created a secure Meetup Spot in its parking lot for secure internet purchase exchanges. This site has live recording and monitoring that will provide a safe location. Our purpose is to continue to improve our services to you and provide the best service possible and we hope that this Meetup Spot proves to be beneficial for Laurens County citizens.
