This week, we’re proud to recognize 5th grade students from Hickory Tavern, Waterloo, and Gray Court schools who successfully completed the D.A.R.E. program!

The D.A.R.E. program isn't just about saying "no"—it's about saying yes to smart choices, good friends, strong boundaries, and clear minds. Through lessons focused on decision making, communication, peer interaction, and healthy coping skills, these students are walking away with tools that will serve them far beyond the classroom.

A huge thank you to Deputy Devost for the time, dedication, and heart you’ve poured into teaching these students. You’ve made a lasting impression and taught them a some life lessons they’ll keep in mind for years to come.

Let’s also give a big round of applause to our D.A.R.E. essay winners:

Hickory Tavern: Adielynn Wheeler and Sutton Herring

Gray Court: Audrie Drayton, Camilla Attaway, and Emily Hardin

Waterloo: Aubreeanna Wittner and Brooklyn Lewis

We’re so proud of each and every one of you. Keep leading with courage, kindness, and wisdom—you are our future, and it’s looking bright!
