It is with sadness that we announce the passing of former LCSO K-9 Remus.
Remus retired in March of 2025 after faithfully serving the citizens of Laurens County. Though he was retired, Remus remained a valued part of the LCSO family, and we are grateful for his dedication, loyalty, and service to this county during his time here.
We extend our condolences to his handler, family, and all who served alongside him. Rest easy, Remus. Well done.

Deepest condolences on the loss of former K-9 Remus — a loyal partner who served Laurens County with dedication and heart. It’s touching to see community support here, and conversations like how the crypto program for b2b clients https://institutional.whitebit.com/partner-program can support local causes show how people are thinking creatively while honoring service.
As it turned out, it was very hard to create animal characters for games. It would seem that this is not a fictional creature. And we all know about dogs. But, it’s not just about making a character look good. It’s about proportions, animations, facial expressions, performance optimization, and how all of this fits seamlessly into gameplay. Even small details, like how a character moves behind the counter or reacts to a player’s action, suddenly became crucial to immersion. But I’m glad that the VSQUAD character design team saved my project.
