Sgt Alexander Recognized by Governor McMaster

Sergeant Amanda Alexander of the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was recently recognized by Governor McMaster for saving a life by administering the overdose reversal drug naloxone in an emergency situation. Governor McMaster presented a symbolic challenge coin to each law enforcement officer who has administered naloxone and stated that South Carolina is truly made greater by the dedication and efforts of our state’s law enforcement officers. Thank you Sergeant Alexander for your hard work and dedication to the citizens of Laurens County and this office.
