The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office and Animal Shelter would like to recognize the incredible generosity of our community for helping make a long-awaited need a reality.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of citizens, businesses, along with the support of Laurens County Council, our Animal Shelter now has a dedicated transport van! This van is a lifeline that will allow staff to transport animals to rescue partners, vet appointments, adoption events, and foster homes; helping more dogs leave our shelter faster and receive the care and second chances they deserve.
Every trip this van makes represents hope. It means fewer delays, more opportunities for rescue placement, better access to medical care, and positive outcomes for the animals we are entrusted with.
To everyone who donated, shared our van campaign, encouraged others to give, and to Laurens County Council for investing in this important resource- We sincerely thank you! Your support will have a lasting impact for years to come and countless animals will have brighter futures because of it.
"I am grateful to every individual, family, and business that made obtaining this van possible. Because of your generosity, we are doing more than transporting animals; we are giving them a chance at safety, a fresh start, and the loving forever homes they deserve. Thank you for investing in the lives of these animals and in the future of our community."
