Pineland Shores Incident 9/24

On September 24, 2025 at approximately 6:45PM, deputies were dispatched to Pineland Shores Circle in Cross Hill in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, an individual was located deceased. The other individual involved was detained at that time, as is protocol.

The subject arrived at the residence at approximately 6:40PM and an altercation occurred, at which time the resident fired a shot.

Investigation is ongoing. No further details will be released at this time.

The deceased will be identified by the Laurens County Coroner’s Office when appropriate.
