Man Wanted for 1/24 Murder

UPDATE 1/30/2023- IRBY IS IN CUSTODY

---- On January 24th at approximately 8:30PM, Deputies responded to Gray Drive in Gray Court in reference to a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim had been shot and succumbed to his injuries. This was an isolated incident between two individuals. The deceased has been identified by the Laurens County Coroner’s Office as Trevor D. Anderson of Gray Court.

The suspect has been identified as 35 year old Roy Degerick Irby of Gray Court and he is currently wanted by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office for Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.
