LCSO Receives Environmental Impact Award
Yesterday, we received the Environmental Impact Award from the Laurens County Prevention Coalition in recognition of our Narcan administration efforts, prescription drug take-back initiative, and our opioid arrest data reporting.
Sergeant Patterson recently organized a successful Drug Take Back Day, providing a safe and convenient way for our community to dispose of unused or expired medications. Remember, our office always has a receptacle available for drug disposal, ensuring that you have a secure place to discard medications responsibly year-round.
We are proud of this recognition and remain steadfast in our mission to protect and serve our community. Our investigators and deputies combat the opioid crisis daily and work hard to tackle the issue. Thank you to the Laurens County Prevention Coalition for this honor and to our dedicated team for their hard work and commitment to making a difference.
Together, we can create a safer, healthier environment for all.
