Four Charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

On February 23rd, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was contacted regarding the location of a wanted person on Wichita Drive in Gray Court. While on scene, a 1995 Honda Odyssey was discovered to have been stolen from Mauldin, SC. Due to this stolen vehicle and items observed in plain sight, a search warrant was obtained.

During the course of the investigation, Investigators were given another location for wanted subject William Blake Invester and proceeded to Cheek Road in Gray Court. Mr. Ivester was located at this address. The vehicle the subject was in at this time was also found to be stolen out of Spartanburg County, as well as another vehicle on scene which was stolen out of Greenville County.

The individuals listed were arrested and each charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

Mr. Ivester is currently in our detention center and has charges pending in Mauldin and Spartanburg. Ms. Avenarius also has charges pending in Mauldin.
