National Police Week Blood Drive

May 15 was designated at Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week by President John F. Kennedy in 1962. National Police Week, as it is now called, is a time where we honor those who have paid the ultimate price wearing the uniform. To honor the tradition of National Police Week and those fallen heroes in Laurens County, the Laurens County Sheriff's Office will be holding a blood drive on Wednesday, May 17 from 11:00am until 7:00pm at the Laurens County Sheriff's Office located at 216 West Main Street in Laurens. All donors will receive a special t-shirt. We hope that you will come help us honor those who have sacrificed their all in their service to others.
