Three Charged With Ill Treatment of Animals

On November 12th at approximately 12PM, Deputies responded to 138 Tillman Circle in Joanna in reference to dogs running loose and being shot with a BB gun. Upon arrival, Deputies observed several dogs outside of the residence. None of the dogs had access to water and the yard was full of trash and debris. Deputies noted a strong odor of filth and feces in the yard. A strong odor of urine and ammonia was noted at the front porch area, as well as multiple underweight cats with matted eyes. The inside of the home was in deplorable condition with urine puddles, a build up of animal feces, and an overwhelming smell as well. Deputies noted that a dog located across the street in plain view was laying in deplorable conditions with no drinkable water present. The same individuals located at 138 Tillman Circle were also responsible for this dog.

11 dogs, 9 puppies, and 22 cats were seized from this residence. The individuals listed below were arrested without incident and charged as follows:

Dorcus Bonita Boyter- Ill Treatment of Animals x3

Shelbie Nicole Goble- Ill Treatment of Animals x4

Timothy Arthur Boyter- Ill Treatment of Animals x4 and Possession of Less Than One Gram of Meth
