Criminal Sexual Conduct

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Greenwood City Police Department and the Eighth Circuit Solicitors Office after a subject admitted to having inappropriate sexual contact with a minor in Laurens County. Investigators with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office then contacted the victim and their mother. On January 14, 2019 the Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel Lee Johnson and charged him with Criminal Solicitation of a Minor, Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, and Sexual exploitation of a minor. He is currently being held in the Johnson Detention Center on No Bond.
