Calling All Bikers!

The Laurens County Sheriff's Office will kick off the fundraising season for the 15th Annual Christmas for Kids program on May 27 with a Poker Run. All proceeds from the event will be used for the Christmas for Kids program that provides toys and gifts for under-privileged children in Laurens County.

Each poker hand is $15. We will gather at Laurens VFW, where the first bike will leave at noon and the last bike will roll back in by 4:00 pm. There will be food, door prizes, an auction, a 50/50 raffle, as well as plenty of fun and fellowship.

Sheriff Don Reynolds states "It is our goal to make the 15th Annual Christmas for Kids the best ever. There are children across this county who will not experience the thrill of having gifts around a Christmas tree without the help of this program. Memorial Day weekend is a great time to kick things off and I hope all the Laurens County bikers will come out and help support this great cause."
