On July 1, 2019 the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office responded to 452 Tractor Drive to assist Animal Control. When Animal Control approached the property, one of the subjects, Lori Lockey, fled the scene. When Deputies arrived, they located two horses, a kitten, and a rabbit living in deplorable conditions with little to no food and water. Holly Sue Burns is missing from the Fountain Inn area. She is known to have some medical issues that require medication and it is unknown as to whether she has her medication with her. It is unclear at this time if she left on foot or in a car with someone.

On April 9, 2019 the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on S. Harper Street in Laurens for a subject that had been shot. On February 6, 2019 the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service at Mansfield Campground near Lake Greenwood in Cross Hill. The call was in reference to subjects who didn’t belong in the campground using the shower facilities without permission.
