

Mail Theft
On November 28, 2018 at approximately 11:30 PM Deputies received a call for service in reference to a gray van traveling down the wrong side of Greenpond Rd, going through mail boxes. Deputies located the van a short time later and found Charity Oniel Hatchell of Spartanburg, to be in possession of numerous pieces of mail which didn’t belong to her. She was arrested without incident and transported to Johnson Detention Center where she was booked. Mrs. Hatchell will be charge


Wanted Person
On November 28, 2018 Jeffrey Ronald Taylor was found guilty of several charges during a jury trial in Laurens County. Mr. Taylor was found guilty of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol. Mr. Taylor did not appear for court during the trial, therefore bench warrants were issued for his arrest. We are asking for the publics help in locating Mr. Taylor so he can be brought before the court

On November 29, 2018 the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service on Willis Rd in the Fountain Inn area of Laurens County in reference to a missing two-year-old. Deputies arrived on scene within minutes and began searching for the child. The child was found safe a short time later in the edge of a neighbor’s yard. Wanted Person
On November 16, 2018 the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Neptune Drive in the Waterloo area of Laurens County to serve a court order from Illinois. The court order from Illinois directed law enforcement to take custody of an infant child. According to agencies in Illinois, it appears that Mr. Teitsort fled the state with the infant child after the court order was obtained. Project Lifesaver
On November 6, 2018 the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service in reference to a missing person in the Watts Mill area of Laurens County. The missing person was wearing a Sheriff’s Office “Project Lifesaver” Bracelet at the time they went missing. Deputies used the technology to locate her within 15 minutes of the call being dispatched.
